The launch event for The Malta Opus took place at the Maritime Museum in Birgu on 18 September  2025. The was the first from the Opus Collection to commemorate an entire country, weighs approximately 38kg and delves into Malta's history, culture, and identity. The launch ceremony included the ceremonial delivery of the first two volumes by a classic Jaguar, escorted into the venue by the Armed Forces of Malta and was introduced by Minister for Arts and Culture the Hon. Dr. Owen Bonnici. The Opuses were blessed by the Rev Fr John Avellino. The Malta Diver and Diamond Timepieces were also announced.
